Trail time is all time here in Kimberley, we are home to the largest municipal park in British Columbia and with 5 separate trail networks to explore there are options for everyone. Purcell Outdoors is the place to get yourself kitted out before you head out.
Kimberley is a popular winter destination as people make stops along the Powder Highway. Kimberley Alpine Resort is home to the longest-lit-night skiing run in North America and has 80 downhill runs as well as a popular up-track route. The incredible Kimberley Nordic Club has 35km of beautiful trails for everyone. For the non skiing adventure seekers there are options to explore our groomed winter trail network by snowshoe, fat bike, or cross-country ski, or with sled powered back country adventure.
Come summer, hop on your bike, or lace up a pair of walking/trail running shoes before heading to the nearest trail head. Heading to your favourite rec site or back country camp spot? We've got you covered. We have everything you need for training and racing in Round the Mountain or the Black Spur Ultra marathon.
